How to wear boho in the cold

2024 has ushered in a new era of boho dressing. No longer just a Sienna Miller-does-Glastonbury-special, this year we’re wearing boho off the festival circuit: to work, weddings and walks in the wilderness (your local park) - whatever the weather. Right now, it’s cold but boho still has a place in your wardrobe. Style it under your winter coat now and solo when summer comes.

First up, layers - obviously. A no-brainer in chilly temps but a trick that is hard to pull off while still keeping your outfit boho. The solution? Focus on the crafty details of the boho trend, specifically embroidery, applique and key fabrics like faux leather and suede rather than the trend’s silhouettes. Stick to jeans to keep warm and throw on the ‘70s version of a “cute top” - a white peasant blouse with broderie anglaise for your very own Joni Mitchell moment.

When we think “boho”, we think about the seventies and when we think about the seventies, only one colour comes to mind: tan.
