20 things to look forward to in 2020

A New Year is a time for new beginnings bla bla bla… while it’s nice to get a fresh start, it’s also a time to look forward to new experiences and new entertainment. We don’t want to wish the year away already but 2020 is looking to be a cracking year with double the amount of Love Island, our favourite shows returning for second seasons and lots exciting things to do and see! 

This is what we’re looking forward to in 2020… 

Love Island

It’s the highlight of our summer and this year Love Island is hitting us with two series! Winter Love Island will hit in Jan with our girl, Laura Whitmore and we can’t wait!

Sex Education: Season 2

Super relatable and ridiculously hilarious, Netflix’s Sex Education is returning to our screens! If there’s one way to beat the January blues, it’s by binge watching this.


It’s arguably our favourite Disney film, Mulan is getting a live-action remake! While we’ll be first in line to watch it, we don’t know how we feel about the lack of Mushu…

James Bond: No Time To Die

There was a moment in time where we thought Idris Elba was going to be our next Bond (we can still dream), but it’s confirmed that Daniel Craig will be returning as the iconic role for the 5th and final time.

Timothee Chalamet’s London stage debut

Clear your plans for next spring because Hollywood’s boy of the moment will be making his London stage debut! Timothee Chalamet will be starring alongside The Crown’s Eileen Atkins in 4,000 Miles.

London Marathon

Whether the London Marathon is on your New Year’s resolution list or not, there’s no denying the feel-good factor you get from a day at the big race! Inspirational and all for a good cause, don’t miss it!

Andy Warhol exhibition

If you’re after culture in 2020 be sure to hit up the Andy Warhol exhibition at the Tate Modern. Telling the story of Warhol’s life, you’ll get the chance to see some of his iconic pop art too!

All Points East festival

Before we’ve even reached the end of 2019 festival headliners are being announced and we’re here for it. One of our favourite London festivals, Tame Impala will be one of the headliners in 2020. Buzzing!

Killing Eve: Season 3

SPOILER ALERT! Is Eve alive or dead? There’s been no trailer to drop any hints, but season 3 of our favourite show is coming back to answer all of those questions and to inspire our 2020 wardrobe…


Whether you’re one of the lucky ones that bagged a ticket or you’ll be watching from home, it’s Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary so it’s going to be extra special. Paul McCartney and Diana Ross? Sold.

Alice in Wonderland exhibition

One of our favourite children’s books is coming to life in a mega exhibition at the V&A! Alice: Down The Rabbit Hole will be an immersive experience and we can’t wait to get lost!


There’s no better place to drink Pimm’s like water and devour strawberries and cream than Wimbledon! Whether you’re enjoying the tennis courtside or from the pub, it sure is a glorious two weeks.

The Olympic games

Only coming around every 4 years, we’re looking forward to the 2020 Olympics. Will it inspire us to move more? Maybe. Is it more likely that we’ll be happy to be watching from our sofa? Definitely.

Euphoria: Season 2

It was the show that everyone was obsessed with and we’re relieved to know it will be returning in the summer! We need Zendaya and the gang to continue to inspire us with look upon look.
