River Island X Blood Brother

New year calls for a new Design Forum collaboration. River Island Design Forum is back for SS18, with a 11-piece ready-to-wear collection including accessories and footwear with British menswear brand Blood Brother. Get your Christmas spends at the ready, you've been so self-less buying all those gifts throughout December (who are we kidding, on Christmas Eve), now it's time to reward yourself with a 2018 wardrobe revamp.

About Blood Brother

Set up in 2012, Blood Brother defines itself by a highly distinctive, precision-led aesthetic. Blood Brother fuses contemporary fashion design and construction with the essentialities of comfort and functionality. Founders Nicholas Biela and James Waller utilizes cutting edge design to create contemporary menswear clothes, with their signature nod towards a utilitarian visual language and iconic technical outerwear. Plus… they’re almost as well known for their off the scale parties as their fashion wears.

The Collection

Cutting-edge print techniques and fabrications, combined with the brands innovative design philosophy and vintage street-wear references were the starting point for this collection. Think urban living via street signage slogans, CCTV glitch prints and a muted colour palette of stone grey, carbon black and indigo blue with occasional accents of high-vis orange.

It wouldn’t be Blood Brother without a party…

River Island and Blood Brother are hosting an exclusive ‘you don’t want at miss it’ party to celebrate the launch with a top-secret content screening and some one-off performances from the likes of Yxng Bane, Kojey Radica and Lady Leshurr. 4 lucky sods will have the chance to be there rubbing shoulders and drinking G&T’s with the stars…

Find out how you and a mate can be at the event and see the artists perform live at our exclusive Blood Brother party over on @RiverIslandMan Instagram.

RI x Blood Brother will launch in selected stores and online January 4th 2018 from £15 - £150.
