The Faces of the Future: 5 Empowering Women We Love

The Faces of the Future: 5 Empowering Women We Love

Here’s to women – aren’t they amazing!

This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating these five fabulous female icons.

If you’re not a fan of Emma Watson, you should be! Gone are the days of Hermione Granger, Emma has proved time and time again that she is not going to be defined by a role... Amongst making films, she graduated from Brown University, is an environmental activist, was appointed a UN Goodwill Women’s Ambassador AND recently, she’s been championing the #TimesUp movement in the UK – fighting to put an end to sexual harassment and discrimination in Hollywood and other industries. Wow!

After receiving her BRIT award, she dedicated her speech to women and how they are taking over the world, which is obviously why we had to include her on our list!
Strong, empowering and ambitious are just a few words to sum up this rising star. She’s been making her musical mark since she was 14, covering some of the biggest powerhouses in the biz, and now she is leaving her own stamp on the world.

With no plans of slowing down, Dua continues to show us she’s one to watch.

Before she mingled with the monarchy, Meghan came to fame with her role in TV series, Suits and dominated the screens. But, behind the scenes is where much of her other work takes place.
Not only is she a leading gender rights campaigner, a humanitarian activist and a women’s right advocate, Meghan plans on using her voice as the future princess to empower young girls and women…”Women don't need to find a voice—they have a voice. They need to feel empowered to use it and people need to be encouraged listening."  We’re supporting you all the way girl!

If you haven’t heard of Halsey yet, this lady should be on your radar...  Aside from the fact that she is an incredibly talented singer (Grammy nominated to be precise); she is a voice for women around the world. She recently took to the stage at the Women’s March in NYC, she stole the show with a powerful and moving poem, speaking up about her experiences with sexual abuse – encouraging and inspiring others to do at same. Her honesty and bravery makes her a true mover and shaker, love you girl!

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Adele – the ultimate girl boss. She is unapologetically herself and knows how to hold her own. From juggling motherhood and collecting accolades this Queen does it like no other.  Her realness and vulnerability remind us that we are all human and no one is without flaws!
