In the words of The Vengaboys....'Whoah we're going to Ibiza, whoah we’re going back to the island, whoah we’re going to Ibiza, whoah we’re going to have a party'.

Last week we jetted off with a selection of fashion's finest journalists and bloggers to the sunny isle of Ibiza to celebrate the launch of Pacha for River Islands’ high summer collection and pop up store.

We arrived on the island and checked into the new, ultra chic Destino hotel for our short stay. Were we impressed? We'd say so! The views, ambience and very attractive staff helped us all to relax and get into the Ibizan party spirit.

In the evening we headed to Lio - THE restaurant to be seen in on the island - for dinner and drinks. Not only does it have an extensive food and cocktail menu plus a backdrop of the marina and Ibiza town, we were also treated to a performance by talented dancers/acrobats every 15 minutes with a cabaret vibe. We were all suitably impressed to say the least. Then it was onto glamorous nightclub, Pacha, where we danced the night away while listening to David Guetta doing what he does best!

Once the 'tired' but fabulous Fash Pack refuelled on breakfast the following morning, we hot footed it down to visit the pop up shop in old Ibiza town. From gorgeous embellished caftans to printed satin shorts, there was something for everyone there; our only concern was if everything would fit in our case! The pop up shop is perfect for when you're in Ibiza and stuck for an outfit for that all important poolside party.

Before we caught our flight on day three, we paid a visit to the Atzaro spa where we indulged in some last minute R'n R. The Zen like atmosphere was the perfect way to round off our trip and to give our party feet some TLC.

Needless to say the trip was over before we knew it; we all went home with our cases a little heavier, a nice sun kissed glow and a Pacha cherry glint in our eyes.

Until next year Ibiza…..
